MOST of his two-parters have ended with, "Oh!...wait, that's it?" kind of feeling, which is always depressing after a season-long buildup. I'm hoping that 12 will be the kick in the butt Moffat needs to stop that, since his personality is very different than 11 and much closer to the Doctor who had enough story-based seasons to run circles around all the others, 4.
I've heard a lot of people bitching "Oh, it's The Master again. Why didn't he bring in [the Rani/Romana/any other previous Doctor Who character in the existence of the show]?" and same for the Cybermen, but in all honesty I feel that this is very much a "Don't fix what ain't broken" situation and I think they pulled it off very well. They're called nemeses for a reason, folks.
I'm still keeping my expectations as low as possible, though.
