Sick Day(s)

So at work on Monday, around 1:30pm, my digestive tract decided that everything needed to exit RIGHT THEN. Luckily (sort of?), it wasn't by puking, but it wasn't pleasant either way. I figured it was something disagreeing with me, and after one butt-splosion everything would be fine.
How wrong I was.
It continued after I got home from work, and I figured: Eh, I had leftovers for lunch, it's probably the same stuff disagreeing with me. Then, when I had to get up at 3am and run to the bathroom several times to avoid shitting the bed, I realized it was either food poisoning or some kind of stomach bug.
So I called in sick, fearing the drive to work, and fearing shitting myself at work. I spent most of yesterday feeling rather flu-ish (probably from dehydration, though I've been trying to consume a glass of water and/or ginger ale as often as I can), and got an extra 12 or so hours of sleep. I didn't really feel better in the evening, though I DID figure out that the running time of "whatever I ate speeding through my digestive tract" was about 5-6 hours.
Got up again at 2am this morning to make the run to the bathroom, then 4 times when my alarm when off for the same deal. Despite all the water and ginger ale, apparently everything I swallowed was just going straight through my intestines. Which is weird when you think about how the body works, but it means that literally nothing was getting absorbed at all and my kidneys were being ignored completely. That's not cool.
I HAVE urinated once today, at least, so I know it's not like my kidneys have failed or something.
(I told you this was gonna be heavily TMI, guys.)
So today was another sick day, which pisses me off because I like my job, but I also know that going into work with a stomach bug (or whatever this is) is super dumb. I have consumed probiotic yogurt, which seems to have slowed down whatever this is…or else, it's just run its course and I happened to eat yogurt after it was already flushed out of my system. Lunch was consumed, toast with peanut butter and a protein shake, and now I basically am just going to rest and wait. Might take a bath or a hot shower, since I have enough energy to actually get out of bed today and go somewhere that's not the toilet.
Luckily, no one else who came over this weekend has reported anything similar, so if it WAS food poisoning, it was some personal reaction. My blood sugar's fine, so odds are it's not an infection, or if it is it's extremely localized (my blood sugar generally shoots way up when I'm any kind of sick). My lower half is pretty sore, probably from shoving a lot through there a lot faster than normal (along with #sharkweek, which I am really hoping this is not a symptom of, though it happened in the middle of it, which hasn't happened previously for any symptom of my menstrual cycle), but I haven't felt nauseous at all throughout this, just tired and extremely annoyed with my butt.
